Collie Puppies - Yours for Life!
Collie Puppies: Princess’s Eight
My second dog was a female, tri-colored collie that surprised me with a litter of eight of the cutest collie puppies. Princess was my dog’s name and she was a sweetheart. She was a little girl’s dream playmate. I liked to dress her up and once after dressing her up, I convinced my mom that Princess should be able to come in the house and play with me. That was a big step for my mom who believed the right place for any dog was outside.

Princess knew exactly what to do to get ready for her pups, which was a good thing because I didn’t have a clue. This was the first time that I had been an expectant ‘mom owner’. Actually, I didn’t see the results of all of her preparations until one day when I called Princess and she was nowhere to be found. I went looking for her in the barn. I found her in the barn along with the cutest little furry collie puppies that any one could have ever seen. She had taken care of finding a nifty spot in the barn, protected and warm. I must have been ten feet off the ground as I ran to tell my mom what I had found.
All of the collie puppies were healthy and they grew up fast. It was hard to see them go away to new homes but I knew before they were born that we could not keep them all. The last puppy to go was the hardest but I still had my Princess.
All puppies are cute! All puppies require a lot of attention and care, if you want to be a good owner. Making sure that each one is getting enough food, that there belly buttons heal correctly, checking them regularly to see that everything is developing the way it is supposed to develop, taking them to the veterinarian for their first shots, and properly training them life skills. There are few things more fun than being` on the floor with a “small mob” crawling over you, licking you, and wrestling with their siblings on top of your tummy. Princess’s collie puppies created a lifetime of memories.
